The 9th BoKoMaT will take place on September 24 & 25, 2025. At the technical conference on nickel-titanium shape memory alloys, high-ranking speakers will report on their work and discuss with relevant players and interested guests. This year, for the first time, the conference offers exhibitors the opportunity to present shape memory exhibits to an interested public.

Venue
The BoKoMaT 2025 will take place in the Event Center “Veranstaltungszentrum” of the Ruhr-University Bochum. The modern conference venue of BoKoMaT 2025 is located at the southern edge of the campus and has several light-flooded rooms on one level. Up to 800 people can be accommodated here under ideal conference conditions.

Directions
The Ruhr-Universität Bochum can be easily reached from all directions by car, bicycle and public transport.

Arrival by public transport
From Bochum’s main train station, you can reach the Ruhr-Universität Bochum by taking the U35 subway (CampusLinie) in the direction of Hustadt, which stops directly at the “Ruhr-Universität Bochum” stop. With the U35 you need about 10 minutes from the main station Bochum to the university.
